LE’s versatile transmission fluids keep fleets running

The purpose of a transmission fluid is to cool and lubricate, ensuring smooth performance of your vehicle. The quality of your transmission fluid is especially important in extreme driving conditions such as heavy loads, steep terrain, continuous operation and lots of starts and stops.

Known worldwide for its heavy-duty, high-performance transmission fluids, LE works with small and large customers operating fleets of on- and off-road vehicles and mobile equipment. These customers depend on LE’s transmission fluids to protect their valuable mobile assets. Together, LE transmission fluids and engine oils together will help any size operation keep its fleet running and avoid costly downtime and repairs.

Protection from friction is key to drivetrain performance

Whether on the field, on the road or at the site, a vehicle’s drivetrain must withstand heat and friction to avoid premature wear and failure. Tractors, buses, dozers, cars and trucks all benefit from the protection of LE’s high-performance transmission fluids. LE’s advanced formulations keep moving parts cool. Our transmission fluids are resistant to oxidation. They prevent thickening and the formation of sludge and varnish deposits. LE’s transmission fluids resist condensation and acid formation, while ensuring efficient operation in cold temperatures. If maximizing the operation of your on- and off-road vehicles is a priority, choose LE transmission fluids.

Look for products that contain Monolec

Monolec Beaker

Monolec, LE’s in-house wear-reducing additive, creates a single molecular lubricating film on metal surfaces, vastly increasing oil film strength without affecting clearances, and allowing opposing surfaces to slide by one another. The result is greatly reduced friction, heat and wear. This is of great benefit for mobile and stationary hydraulic systems, such as construction equipment and utility service boom trucks. Monolec® Power Fluid (7500)

Foam Comparrison

Even in severe field conditions, Monolec Power Fluid ensures constant, long-lasting performance for most heavy-duty transmissions, combination transmission-hydraulic (wet brake) systems, and hydraulic systems. Its unique blend provides the proven protection of the most advanced wear, friction and oxidation inhibitors, all in one complete formula that you can count on to deliver superior wear performance, consistent friction characteristics, exceptional oxidation stability and excellent foam prevention.

Monolec Power Fluid meets the requirements of a wide variety of manufacturers for systems used in construction, farming, manufacturing, material handling, mining, quarrying and trucking. Its versatility allows inventory consolidation, with just one lubricant for all of your transmission, axle and hydraulic protection needs.

Typical Applications: Heavy-duty transmission systems, combination transmission-hydraulic (wet brake) systems, hydraulic systems, power steering and power takeoff, sump systems that require tractor hydraulic fluid

Monolec® Power Fluid (7500)

Monolec® Drive Train Fluid (7511-7551)

7511_7531_7551 Truck

Monolec Drive Train Fluid is a high-performance, heavy-duty drive train fluid that protects off-road equipment and keeps it in working order, whether it is running intermittently or continuously. It works with today’s newer transmission designs and can be used in final drives, wet brakes and various torque convertors. It improves power throughput density, helping reduce mechanical shudder and eliminate brake chatter and clutch wear. Ideal for use in construction, mining, quarries, hydraulic fracturing and other applications where downtime can be costly, this versatile fluid meets or exceeds the performance requirements of Caterpillar, Allison and Komatsu.

This is not an engine oil formulated to be a drive train fluid; Monolec Drive Train Fluid was specifically developed to meet the rigorous demands of the application. Its carefully selected additive system – which includes Monolec®, LE’s exclusive wear-reducing additive – balances the need for lubricity along with the frictional properties needed to optimize the operation of powershift clutches and wet brakes. The fluid’s high-viscosity base oil helps it stay cool during operation – even in extreme temperatures – with no need for seasonal changeouts.

Typical Applications: Heavy-duty transmissions; combination transmission-hydraulic (wet brake systems); hydraulic systems; power steering and power takeoff; sump systems that require tractor hydraulic fluid

Available SAE Grades: 10 (7511), 30 (7531), 50 (7551)

Synolec® Transmission Fluid (640)

Cement Truck

Synolec Transmission Fluid is a premium full-synthetic lubricant designed for fuel efficiency and extended drain intervals while meeting OEM warranty requirements. It is intended for use in manual transmissions that require a non-EP transmission fluid for light- to severe-duty, on- and off-highway equipment operating in a diverse range of environments. Formulated to protect higher torque transmissions coupled with increased horsepower engines, it will prolong transmission life by reducing gear wear and copper corrosion. Synolec Transmission Fluid meets or exceeds the specifications of several manual transmission OEMs, including Eaton transmissions such as Roadranger, Ultrashift Plus, Fuller Advantage, FR and RT Series.

Typical Applications: Heavy-duty manual transmissions where extended service intervals and warranties are required; on-highway light- and heavy-duty trucks, buses and vans; off-highway equipment, including those used in construction, mining and agriculture.

Available SAE Grade: 40 (640)

Differential Fluid & Transmission Fluid

Monolec® Gear Lubricant (703-704)

Quart

Monolec Gear Lubricant offers the versatility of one product that meets the demanding extreme pressure (EP) fleet requirements of all types of differentials (including limited slip) and transmissions, as well as most industrial enclosed gearboxes. A multiviscosity extreme pressure gear oil, Monolec Gear Lubricant was formulated to achieve the proper balance between load-carrying capacity, film strength and lubricity. This is not an automatic transmission fluid, hydraulic or semi-automatic transmission oil and is not for use in common sump systems that use combination gear-hydraulic oil, hydraulic oil or a power steering fluid.

Typical Applications: All differentials and transmissions specifying an EP lubricant (except those requiring pure mineral oil), including: Over-the-road and stop-and-go fleets; off-highway equipment transfer cases, overdrive units, oil-lubricated wheel bearings and steering gearboxes; limited slip differentials; Rockwell and Eaton axles; heavily loaded industrial gearboxes; any gearboxes that have bronze gears, thrust washers or other parts that require an EP gear oil; worm gearboxes calling for EP gear oils; especially appropriate for machine tools and other precision gearing because low wear rate keeps them within specification longer

Available SAE Grades: 80W-90 (703), 85W-140 (704)
