LE Launches Duolec®, Exclusive ‘Dual Action’ Anti-Wear & Extreme Pressure Additive
Fifty years after the introduction of its proprietary anti-wear additive Almasol®, LE launches its latest additive for the enhancement of its gear oils. Duolec offers “dual action” performance, sharing the anti-wear and extreme pressure attributes of LE’s Almasol and Monolec® anti-wear additives. It imparts special properties and synergies to the LE lubricants in which it is used, increasing lubricant film strength and protecting metal surfaces by outperforming at greater temperatures and loads. In a wear test, Duolec was found to reduce wear by as much as 11 percent when it was the only additive incorporated into base oil – proving its outstanding performance without the interference of other ingredients.
